In a Michigan State University study, 20 percent of the participants felt that a relationship was not “official” until it was made public on Facebook. Does that mean that if I don’t post where my hometown is, I don’t actually live there? Or if I don’t post all of my favorite music, I don’t actually like it? Or if I don’t have a Facebook, I don’t actually exist? It sounds like 20 percent of people have some attachment issues. Or a super hot girlfriend they are trying to show off to the popular 80 percent.
